BRUTTIUM. The Brettii. Circa 216-214 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 4.87 g, 1 h). Diademed and draped bust of Nike to right. Rev. BPETTIΩN River god Aisaros standing front, crowning himself with his right hand and holding scepter in his left; in field to right, monogram. HN Italy 1970. Scheu S83. Beautifully toned. Old scuff on the obverse and struck from the usual somewhat worn dies, otherwise, good very fine.
